So the final Harry Potter premiere was last night, and I watched eagerly to see what Emma Watson’s new style savviness would treat us to next. I wasn’t disappointed. While Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) looked rather bizarre in a granny pink Miu Miu dress with an unflattering cut (below), Emma looked gorgeously styled in my favourite dress designer Oscar de la Renta.
Her hair and make-up looked beautifully sophisticated, and she proved just how far she’d come from Hermione’s frazzled image in The Philosopher’s Stone:
My favourite Weasley twins looked rather dashing too:
Unfortunately, Malfoy’s (Tom Felton) arm-candy, didn’t really measure up to his classy villainous look, or the sophistication of his co-stars. Jade Olivia looked more suited to an episode of The Only Way Is Essex, with her orange-hued skin… and was that foundation on her lips?! No, no, no. She should take a leaf out of Emma’s book.
So this is nearly the end. Just a week left until the Harry Potter era closes. I hope the actors do stick around Hollywood for a while. I wouldn’t mind Emma Watson being the next Keira Knightley (she is far less annoying already!).
